A little depth. A bigger picture.

Your meal has more
than two dimensions.

A photo captures what’s on your plate. On compatible iPhones, Evo also uses LiDAR depth to estimate the shape and portion of each food before calculating calories and macros.

No LiDAR? Photo-based scanning is available on supported iPhones, too. Review the result, adjust the details, and keep going.

Tested against real meals.

Restaurant matching is being developed to suggest the dish and restaurant from your meal photo. Here’s what the frozen research candidate achieved in its final held-out test.

Exact dish + restaurant matches
73.3%220 of 300 meal photos
Precision across returned matches
60.8%220 correct of 362 returned matches
False matches when the correct option was absent
65.0%65 of 100 negative controls

October 2026 evaluation: 300 meal photos from 50 previously unused restaurant sources, plus 100 negative controls. The candidate did not meet release criteria. These results measure restaurant and dish identification—not calorie accuracy or LiDAR scanning. Results from a controlled benchmark may differ from everyday use.
